Creating Nurturing Partnerships

The Nurturing Project creates partnerships between civic sponsors (service organizations, local banks and corporations) and local childcare communities (Head Start, Foster Care, pre schools, etc.). Sponsors provide a tax deductible subscription of support resources delivered to their “adopted center” every six weeks. Sponsors also serve as civic advocates, coaches or advisors by applying their problem solving and networking skills in ways that support local families.

Step One - Providers
If you are a provider, click Provider Application and complete the (no cost or obligation) questionare. You will be sent a start-up kit which will include the first and second editions of Nurturing Basics.

Step Two - Providers:
It is important that you, the provider, recommend a number of local business and civic organizations that may be interested in supporting your program. To begin, click Recommend A Sponsor.

Step Three: The Nurturing Project sends each sponsor recommended by you an introductory package and invitation to support your local center. We place a personal phone call to potential sponsors to answer their questions.

Step Four - Sponsors
If you are a sponsor Interested in participating, please fill out the Sponsor Application. We share this information with the local center and form the Nurturing partnership.
